Rossi R92 Stainless Sling Mounting Points

Superb. Just drill & tap 8/32 course thread in the forearm band and mount the stud. Used it for my Winchester 1892 Deluxe. Waiting for these to become available again so I can add to my Chiappa.

Did not realize There was no place to screw in the short one without having to drill and tap a hole in the forend band . Once that was taken care of the studs work beautifully and match the SS 92 I have .

It’s an 8/32 course thread. I called Rossi technical support. They had no clue what bit and tap was needed.

I would give a 5 Star rating if there were a size included so you knew what bit and tap were needed. Product is exactly as described on website. Good quality product.

This will be a great addition to my R92 as it will be so much easier to attach a sling once it is installed. Really like that Rossi offers accessories for their products. Could use advisement on what the thread size/pitch is for the band mount. Thanks

Once i got the correct bit & tap then installed the front one & recessed the rear one along with a white washer it was exactly what my early rossi stainless 44mag needed! Thanks for a continued great product rossi. Please dont let up on it either.
